How to live longer, healthier, healthier for life September 25, 2021 September 25, 2021 admin

A healthy life is important for our health and well-being.

But what’s really important to keep in mind is how we live our lives.

Here are seven ways to stay healthy and happy in the long run.

Eat more fruits and vegetables Healthy fruits and veggies contain fiber, antioxidants and nutrients that help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Take fewer meds and take fewer drugs Meds are a major culprit in many chronic diseases, including heart disease, stroke and diabetes.

The American Heart Association recommends taking at least two or three daily doses of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and aspirin to treat fever, cough, sore throat, and other symptoms.

Get regular exercise Even the best diet and exercise plan can’t replace the natural rhythms of the body, so the best way to stay fit is to get enough exercise.

And if you have chronic conditions like heart disease or arthritis, exercising at a regular pace can help reduce the risk for those conditions.

Get enough sleep This is a key element of keeping your health and wellbeing.

Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for optimal health.

Studies have shown that older adults who get eight or more hours of sleep are less likely to die from heart disease and other chronic conditions than those who get four or fewer hours.

Get the most out of your smartphone and tablet The internet has made it easier to communicate with family, friends, and loved ones, so there’s a greater likelihood of taking steps to boost your health.

Some apps let you schedule exercise sessions, take a health photo, or track your weight.

Take vitamins and minerals If you are getting your daily recommended doses of vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc, you’re likely to be healthy and well, especially if you take the right supplements.

Reduce your alcohol intake If you have alcohol-related problems, consider cutting down on it, including reducing the amount of time you spend with friends and family, taking alcohol-free products like wine, beer, and soft drinks, and limiting your alcohol consumption to no more than two drinks a day.

You can also reduce your caffeine intake, and drink less if you’re sensitive to caffeine.
