Health care experts say the Affordable Care Act’s subsidies for insurers are too small and its insurance marketplaces are too slow to attract healthy people.
| AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster Trump administration to propose massive tax cut for health insurance companies: The president will announce the plan Monday that will boost the tax rate on health insurance corporations from 21 percent to 25 percent.
The move is intended to stimulate economic growth and boost premiums for those already covered by the health care law.
In addition, the plan would cut taxes for all health care companies.
The proposal will be formally unveiled at the White House on Monday afternoon, the White of House said.
